We are looking for a motivated and ambitious person to join the central finance team of our Multi Academy Trust. Managing school finance relies on strong understanding of schools and full knowledge of its income and costs. Now imagine supporting school finance across 27 primary schools!
Transform Trust is a Multi Academy Trust with over 8,995 children in 27 Primary Schools covering Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Derby and Derbyshire. Working as part of the central finance team, you will support the Director of Finance in delivering business partnering services to schools. As a Trust we have further ambition to grow, and we expect this of our people too. If you are an ambitious aspiring finance professional with a desire to learn new skills and progress in a challenging but rewarding environment this is the role for you. In addition, you will be an ambassador for the Trust and must have a customer-facing approach in your interactions with our schools.
Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Finance in delivering business partnering services to schools.
- Be an ambassador for the Trust with a customer-facing approach in interactions with schools.
Essential qualifications and experience
- Finance graduate/Part Qualified Accountant or AAT Qualification Level 3 minimum
- Experience of acting in a business partnering capacity
- Highly competent on MS Office products (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word)
- In depth knowledge of computerized financial systems
- Customer service ethos – Trust schools are our customers
