As a Patient Advisor (Gynaecology), you will be a key point of contact for patients exploring our gynaecology services. You will guide them through their treatment journey with sensitivity, professionalism, and exceptional service. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and the ability to build rapport with patients who may be discussing intimate or sensitive concerns.
You will be responsible for achieving revenue targets and KPIs through effective video, telephone, and face‑to‑face consultations and follow‑up. A strong motivation to achieve results and deliver daily targets is essential. All activity must remain compliant with CQC regulations and organisational procedures. Some homeworking may be agreed, however the role will also require supporting patients and clinicians face‑to‑face within our partner clinics.
Key Duties
- Handle initial enquiries and booked consultations for all gynaecology services, ensuring accurate and compliant information is provided.
- Achieve personal sales targets within ethical and clinical guidelines.
- Meet all KPI measures daily, weekly, and monthly, including outcomes, VAT, conversion triggers, and other service‑specific metrics.
- Meet and exceed personal budgetary targets across the gynaecology division.
- Support profit maximisation through monitoring product mix and appropriate discounting arrangements with ROM support.
- Review patient medical history and complete relevant suitability checks in line with clinical protocols for gynaecology treatments.
- Liaise with gynaecologists and clinical teams to ensure they are fully briefed for each clinic.
- Follow up with patients after consultations, answering questions and supporting them through their treatment journey.
- Coordinate with pre‑ and post‑operative/support teams regarding documentation, follow‑up appointments, or additional requirements.
- Collect deposits and set up finance applications, ensuring all balances are cleared in line with company expectations.
- Ensure all administration, including supporting letters and GP reports, is completed accurately and promptly.
- Maintain ongoing patient contact, addressing concerns with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Liaise with hospital and clinic staff regarding patient queries or concerns.
- Work closely with Head Office departments for scheduling, operations, and treatment coordination.
- Immediately escalate all clinical issues to the clinical team.
- Take proactive responsibility for handling patient complaints.
- Maintain company grooming and dress code standards.
- Monitor competitor activity and maintain awareness of industry developments, particularly within women’s health and gynaecology.
- Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with all health and safety policies.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar industry (gynaecology, women’s health, cosmetic, aesthetic, optical, lifestyle).
- Strong sales and business development background.
- Computer literate with the ability to manage CRM systems and patient records.
- Ability to meet KPIs and work in a target‑driven environment.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and rapport‑building skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.
