Reporting to: Head of Governance & Assurance
Transform Housing & Support is seeking an experienced Interim business analyst to join our Governance & Assurance Team for a 6-month period. This is a critical role supporting the delivery of high-quality, reliable and insightful performance reporting across the organisation. You will work closely with senior leaders and operational teams to strengthen our performance reporting framework and ensure decision-makers at all levels - operational, Executive, Committee and Board - have clear, accurate and meaningful insight. This role will particularly suit someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data, assurance, regulation and operational delivery, and who can confidently translate complex information into accessible, actionable intelligence.
What You'll Be Doing
- Strengthen and enhance our performance reporting framework, ensuring outputs are robust, consistent and audience-appropriate
- Design, develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards and reports that support assurance, compliance, risk and operational oversight
- Work collaboratively with local teams to understand processes, data flows and systems, producing clear process maps and fit-for-purpose data structures
- Support the development of transparent, proportionate and reliable reporting cycles across the business
- Build and embed reporting solutions that support monitoring of key safety, regulatory, compliance and operational metrics
- Provide training, guidance and hands‑on support to colleagues to ensure new reporting approaches are fully understood and embedded

You will bring:
- Strong analytical capability and a genuine passion for turning data into insight
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging colleagues at all levels, including Executive and Board
- Experience working in complex or regulated environments (housing, health, social care or local government desirable)
- A collaborative, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
- The confidence and capability to deliver training, briefings and demonstrations
You will be comfortable explaining complex technical or analytical concepts in plain English and adapting your approach to suit different audiences, from frontline teams to Board members.
Essential Technical Skills
You must be proficient in:
- Business Intelligence & Data Visualisation tools, including Qlik, advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Forms and Microsoft Power Automate
- Data modelling and data structure design
- Process mapping and workflow analysis
- Working with operational teams to understand real-world processes, systems and data
- Interpreting legislation, regulation and best practice to shape new reporting requirements
