Location: Mole Valley based in Leatherhead

Have you got the passion and resilience to support and empower Transform clients to develop their independence and daily living skills? In this role you will work as part of a team and support clients on a day-to-day basis to empower them to resolve their problems to reach positive outcomes. This will be achieved by assisting and encouraging clients to meet their personalised support plans and to access support and related services from local community organisations.

You will also carry out housing management activities such as rent collection, risk assessments, tenancy management, reporting maintenance issues, and health and safety checks.

If you have relevant experience of working with vulnerable people or have transferable skills, we would like to hear from you. Every day is different in this varied and fulfilling role.

About You

  • Ability to develop non-judgmental professional relationships with clients
  • Basic numeracy and written communication skills in Maths and English GCSE/ level 4 or above or equivalent
  • The ability to communicate well with clients, peers and other agencies
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • The ability to manage their own time, delivering outcomes, meeting deadlines and undertaking training
  • The ability to gain an understanding of safeguarding issues and a commitment to protect all adults and children using or visiting Transform's services
  • Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook and the Internet)
  • A trauma-informed approach to working with vulnerable individuals is essential
  • Knowledge of housing and welfare benefits systems is beneficial
  • Ability to work autonomously and use own initiative is essential

>
