Role Purpose
As VP Strategic Partner Sales, you support the development, performance, and growth of TransferMate’s most strategic partner relationships across the region. Operating as a senior commercial leader, you will drive partner-led revenue, deepen product adoption, and position TransferMate as a critical payments partner within key client ecosystems. This is a VP-level individual contributor role, requiring strong executive engagement, commercial ownership, and the ability to lead cross-functional execution through influence. The role reports to the Commercial Director, EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partner Ownership & Revenue Growth
- Own revenue performance across a defined portfolio of high-value strategic partners
- Develop and execute structured account and growth plans to drive expansion, product adoption, and long-term value
- Identify and deliver new commercial opportunities across partner ecosystems, including new use cases, geographies, and solutions
- Drive forecast accuracy and partner-led pipeline generation
- Executive Relationship Management
- Act as the senior commercial owner for key partner relationships
- Build and maintain multi-threaded engagement across executive, commercial, and operational stakeholders
- Lead strategic reviews, growth discussions, and long-term planning sessions
- Position TransferMate as a trusted and strategic partner aligned to client business objectives
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution
- Lead cross-functional alignment across Product, Operations, Compliance, and Commercial teams to deliver partner strategies
- Remove barriers to growth and ensure effective execution across complex stakeholder environments
- Act as the internal advocate for strategic partners, ensuring prioritisation and delivery
- Partner Enablement & Commercial Excellence
- Drive a structured, value-based approach to partner engagement and solution positioning
- Lead enablement initiatives that ensure partners are equipped to generate pipeline and revenue
- Ensure consistency and quality in commercial discussions, proposals, and partner engagement
- Strategic Influence & Market Insight
- Contribute to regional partner strategy and go-to-market planning
- Provide insight into market trends, client needs, and competitive positioning
- Influence internal decision-making across product, pricing, and commercial strategy based on partner feedback
- Customer Performance & Experience
- Monitor partner performance, usage data, and growth trends to identify risks and opportunities
- Drive initiatives to improve engagement, retention, and long-term partner value
- Ensure a consistently high-quality partner and client experience
Skills & Experience
- 8–12+ years’ experience in strategic account management, partnerships, or enterprise sales within fintech, payments, or SaaS
- Proven track record of owning and growing complex, high-value strategic partnerships with measurable revenue impact
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to engage, influence, and negotiate at a senior level
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver outcomes through influence (without direct authority)
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Experience operating in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- High levels of emotional intelligence with exceptional relationship management capability
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
