Transdev UK is seeking a Financial Analyst in Manchester, UK for a Short-Term Assignment. Short-term assignments are encouraged by the group to create opportunities for those who are willing to experiment within the group, grow their background, and contribute to further develop our international culture. Short-term assignments span from 1 month to 12 months, with assignees reverting to their home country after completion.

Transdev UK footprint is mainly in the bus (Blazefield) and airport industry (Heathrow services). These services are acclaimed as thought leaders in the UK and have received multiple awards. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the Financial Model and sub-models including the performance model.
- Track and update regularly, ensuring traceability of changes.
- Ensure the confidentiality of the model.
- Define adequate sub-models to gather the inputs of work streams and integrate them into the financial model.
- Report on completion progress.
- Participate in creating governance papers and provide necessary inputs on the financial side.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with each bid.
- Ensure definition and monitoring of Bid budget.
- Support the definition of the financial model of M&A targets.
- Support the review of target’s P&L and assist in due diligence.
- Liaise with existing operations in the UK to understand their performance.
- Provide ad-hoc support to improve data visualisation and analytics.
- Support the creation/analysis of EBIT waterfall for monthly or quarterly review.
- Support the re-forecast, budgeting, and LTP exercise yearly.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids concurrently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Analytical mindset able to model financially complex businesses.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance (Master's degree preferred) with 2 to 5 years of experience.
- MBA well regarded.
- Experience in public transport is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting structure of P&L and Balance Sheet.
- English full proficiency is required.
Location: Manchester, United Kingdom with limited travelling. Reports to: Bid & Performance Director. Dotted line to CFO.
