Baltic Recruitment are currently working with a world class Automotive manufacturer in the Sunderland area.

We are looking for Production Operatives to work within a fast-paced production environment. The role will include producing automotive parts to the highest quality standards, quality inspection and basic maintenance.

The available roles are full time, long-term opportunities, with a view of going permanent after only 6 months of service.

Our client have seen unprecedented growth over the past decade, with the company expecting to continue its growth and hopes to take on new and exciting projects in the future. Due to this, they have opportunities once Perm, from career progression to the chance to study a degree as well as various other qualifications.

Our client is a global automotive manufacturer.

The organisation specialize in stamped, welded metal components and manufacture integral, structural parts for three globally renowned cars.

Upon starting your role, you will receive fully paid, on the job, training.

Ability to carry out tasks and functions as requested by Team Leaders/Supervisors.

Proven experience within an automotive and production environment

Duties

(Production)

To operate various production machinery including but not limited to robotic spot-welding cells, grinders, and a 3000-tonne press. (area of placement depends on previous experience)

Loading a welding jig with welding materials and consumables.

To produce components in accordance with work instructions, customer requirements, and to specified rates of production.

Completing basic quality checks in line with company policy.

Completing any necessary paperwork.

Other general production and housekeeping duties such as checks and maintenance on machines.

Pay

Standard working week is 39 hours plus overtime availability.

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday.

Must be able to work both day shift and back shifts. Shifts are worked on a weekly rotation.

Shifts

Day shift – 7am – 3.10pm (3pm finish on Fridays)

Back Shift – 3.10pm – 11.20pm (3pm-11pm on Fridays)
