Overview: Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a market-leading manufacturing organisation to assist with their search for a Site Caretaker (Site Services).
Responsibilities:
- The Site Services Operative is responsible for carrying out general site maintenance and support activities, including basic repairs, building upkeep, cleanroom support, grounds maintenance, waste management, and internal deliveries.
- Carry out general building maintenance including painting, minor repairs, panel work, and replacing floor tiles.
- Assemble flat-pack furniture and install fixtures such as notice boards and first aid stations.
- Change locks and handles on doors and lockers.
- Build, install, and maintain modular cleanroom tents and cleanroom tables.
- Unblock toilets and drains, repair leaking taps, plumb in appliances, and support basic plumbing tasks.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and machines, including emptying/refilling tanks and clearing blockages.
- Carry out vehicle checks and complete deliveries, collections, urgent pick-ups, and transport of mould shop tools for repair.
- Perform general routine safety and compliance checks including fire doors, fire extinguishers, ladders, and racking support.
- Maintain external areas including gutters, drains, gardens, gravel, litter picking, and car park magnet sweeping.
- Manage waste and scrap, control skips, segregate materials, and maintain nuts and bolts storage.
The Package:
- £24,790 per annum.
- Day shift role: Monday to Thursday 7:45 and 16:40 & Friday 07:45 to 12:45.
- Flexible Working is offered for this position. Employee is able to build a Flexible allowance 2 days credit/1 day deficit.
- Pension contribution 5%.
