Key Duties
- Fabricate steel components.
- Carry out MIG welding.
- Work with stainless steel sheet metal.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings with precision.
- Operate independently or as part of a team to complete assigned work
Key Requirements
- Time-served Fabricator.
- Proven experience in MIG welding.
- Ability to read and work from detailed engineering drawings.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage workload effectively.
The Package
- Salary Dependent on experience:
- Jig welding/ low experience – £13.47 p/hr
- Non-jig welding/ experienced – £14.83 p/hr
- Specialist welding / highly experienced – £16.57 p/hr
- Hours are 37.5 p/wk. Mainly 07.30-4.30 M-Th and 07.30-11 Fri. Some shifts with customer demand may revert to 6-2 or 2-10 though this is atypical. Shift premiums would be added onto basic rate.
