A major commercial vehicle manufacturer is looking to employ a Warranty Administrator to aid in the control, performance, costs, quality and processing of commercial vehicle Warranties, Goodwill, Campaign and Extended Cover claims. Any automotive warranty experience is ideal for this role in any automotive sector, including commercial, light, cars, vans, plant, agriculture etc.

LOCATION: Hayes

BASIC SALARY: £30k to £32k.

BENEFITS: 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays, Bonus, Company Pension, life assurance, incentives.

HOURS: Day shift may differ slightly but between 6am and 6pm Monday to Friday. No weekends, 42.5 hours weekly.

ROLE:

  • Submitting warranty claims.
  • Aid in Contract Technical Pricing.
  • Support & develop Warranty processes and reporting.
  • Support & develop Contract processes and reporting.
  • Be primary contact for all warranty claims, including attending regular customer review meetings regarding contract performance and management.
  • Help carry out Warranty and Contract audits and any other requirements.

Main Tasks / Responsibilities / Authorities:

  • Aid in all aspects of claim handling, providing efficient, prompt and accurate assessment of claims.
  • Ensure commonality of processes, where possible with regard to Truck and commercial vehicle claims.
  • Produce reports and KPIs as required, and present findings with recommendations for performance improvement.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience in a warranty/contract claims administration environment.
  • Previous technical experience in a commercial vehicle environment (nice to have).
  • Previous experience in a 'manufacturer market company' environment (nice to have).
  • Strong interpersonal skills - Essential.
