A major UK & International freight forwarding organisation are looking for an Ocean Import Clerk to join their rapidly expanding Freight Team.
ROLE: Ocean Import Clerk - Any Freight experience
LOCATION: Southampton
BASIC SALARY: £28k to £32k, dependent upon experience

Hours: Monday-Friday with 3 available shift patterns (0700-1530 / 0800-1630 / 0900-1730) Office based only
ROLE: Ocean Import from start to finish, completing and checking all documentation, dealing with clients. Ensure all CFSP deadlines are met, both internal & those defined by Customs. Ensure accurate use of Customs tariff within the team to both increase efficiency & customer service levels.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Ocean Import experience ideal, however any experience in the freight industry can be considered. Start to finish role: Origin bookings, customs clearance, organising UK deliveries.
