A major UK & International freight forwarder is looking to add an Ocean import Operator to their expanding team. The role is to e nsure full and satisfactory customer service. Ensure professional and courteous manner to clients at all times. Complete Customs procedures with total accuracy. Handle all delivery booking formalities. Generate accurate invoice to client for all shipment related charges. ROLE: Ocean Import, nice to have air or road LOCATION: Southall BASIC SALARY: £35k to £38k HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8 hours between 8am and 5:30pm BENEFITS: Life Assurance, Bonus, Pension ROLE: Arrange cargo pre-shipment with office origin partner office Ensure all relevant notes & eDocs are shown in the job in Cargowise Ensure that credit control procedures are adhered to Ensure all jobs are loaded correctly Ensure Bills of Lading are endorsed correctly and update receipt in Cargowise Utilise shipment filters and check reports to ensure you are being as pro-active as possible Ensure daily ETA checks are completed Raise non conformances for all non conforming issues
