A major UK & International Freight forwarding, 3pl, 4pl and logistics organisation are looking for a 4PL Supply Chain analyst in a Hybrid role to provide key insight and data-driven support across the customer supply chain to enable us to make the best business decisions.
LOCATION: Hybrid (3 days at home, 2 days in the Northampton office)
BASIC SALARY: £42k to £47k
HOURS: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

ROLE:
Driving efficiency and the cost-effective delivery of products and services, you will identify areas where we can improve, help to develop solutions and work alongside colleagues to implement the changes. You will provide accurate reporting and insights, help to identify needs and requirements and interpret patterns and trends in data, producing standard and non-standard statistical and data analysis. Additionally, you will:
- Produce performance dashboards and reports to aid data visualisation
- Highlight supply chain initiatives and address issues
- Produce reports and charts to communicate trends better
- Provide regular updates
- Monitor and track KPIs
- Maintain your knowledge of industry trends and best practices
- Research and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
KEY: advanced Excel - essential, SAP and PowerBI reporting analysis systems nice to have. Must have some form of logistics and supply chain operation/analysis experience. Another key aspect would be someone from a customer facing role, or happy presenting to customers. As in this role the analyst will be presenting their analysis, findings and continuous improvements they can make direct to the client in face to face meetings, so must have personality to be in front of customers. There will also be travel to client sites in England and occasional European travel to clients twice a year to present analysis, findings and improvements. Available immediately is a bonus but not essential.
