Import Road Freight Operator

A rapidly expanding UK & International freight forwarding organisation is looking for an Import road Freight Groupage Operator / Clerk to join their expanding road freight groupage team. The client is looking for a minimum of 2 years road freight experience, import and groupage experience.
ROLE: Import road freight OperatorLOCATION: EssecBASIC SALARY: £30k to £35kBENEFITS: Pension
ROLE: Handling European groupage services. Arranging movement of import road freight from origin to final destination, both international and national. Liaising with customers, overseas partners and suppliers.
Experience required: Must have a good understanding of European Groupage road freight, at least 2 years experience. Capable of manually calculating costs and charges. Understanding of taxable kilos. Good customer service skills. Experience with Customs paperwork. Ability to work in a team but also be self-sufficient.
