A major UK & International freight forwarding organisation are looking for an Air Export Clerk to join their rapidly expanding air Export Freight Team.
Location: Hounslow
Basic Salary: £25k to £35k, dependent upon experience
As an Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the outbound shipment process, ensuring timely customs clearance, managing vendor relations, overseeing compliance with international shipping regulations, and liaising with customers for the final delivery of cargo. You will also handle invoicing and billing for services rendered, playing a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient import operations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the Export process for shipments, ensuring timely and efficient handling.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure proper clearance and delivery.
- Prepare and review import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and international trade laws.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs requirements and tariff codes.
