A major UK & International Transport and freight organisation is looking for a Transport - Distribution Operator to join their rapidly expanding distribution and transport operations team. The ideal candidate will work within the busy distribution department, providing good and accurate communication to customers and drivers.

Good geographical knowledge of the Southeast of England is preferable along with transport knowledge regarding legal compliance, drivers' hours, vehicle dimensions, weights and capacity.

  • ROLE: To meet UK Domestic customers' requirements for the safe and efficient transport of their cargo effectively and in accordance with company operational procedures and statutory requirements including Health & Safety to the satisfaction of clients and the profit of the company.
  • LOCATION: Essex
  • BASIC SALARY: £28k to £30k
  • HOURS: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
  • BENEFITS: 25 days holiday, pension, life assurance, etc.

Prepare correct documentation to the Warehouse department for loading/offloading cargo to vehicles, in a timely manner.
