A major commercial vehicle manufacturer is looking for a driven depot manager to manage a fast paced and demanding commercial vehicle depot which includes a technicians] workshop, service, admin, finance and parts departments. Must possess depot or branch manager experience within the commercial vehicle sector or similar sector. ROLE: Depot Manager - Commercial VehiclesLOCATION: ReadingBASIC SALARY: £60kBENEFITS: Annual bonus, company car, pension, life insurance, 25 days holiday. ROLE: The position is for a Depot Manager, responsible for developing and maintaining the aftersales service provided to the customer in the depot. The depot is successful, but is fast paced and full on. Looking for someone who can handle the pressure and also drive forward profitability. Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities Maximise the profitability of both parts and service departments, including continual improvements in utilisation of staff and efficiency of organisation Budgeting Maintain compliance in all areas of Health and Safety in the workplace Selection and recruitment of staff in all departments (In conjunction with GM) Contribute to the development of all operating and administrative systems to ensure that quality, efficient and timely work is carried out Remain up to date with all relevant legal requirements Achieve and strive to exceed customer service level expectations and agreements Identify and implement a training plan for all depot staff Ensure premises are maintained to a high standard, inline with Operating standards Ensure premises security measures are adequate at all times Actively seek new business in conjunction with GM / GSM Ensure all invoice related queries are dealt with in a timely manner Monitor Warranty / Contract ledger Other general duties as designated by the General Manager Candidate Requirements Education and/or Experience Main Dealer workshop experience Leadership skills / experience Current driving licence Ability to work within guidelines given and to strict deadlines Ability to work under pressure Ability to actively seek solutions to problems Ability to work as part of a team Good leadership skills Good verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service skills Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements Computer literate JBRP1_UKTJ
