A major UK & International Freight forwarding company is looking to add an Air Export Clerk to their expanding team.

The ideal candidate must possess 20 to 3 years Air Export experience and be looking to better themselves as the client will train them on Air Import and also road and Sea, becoming multi modal.

ROLE: Air Export Clerk LOCATION: Warrington BASIC SALARY: £30k to £35k HOURS: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm ROLE: As an Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the outbound shipment process, ensuring timely customs clearance entries, managing vendor relations, overseeing compliance with international shipping regulations, and liaising with customers for the final delivery of cargo.

You will also handle invoicing and billing for services rendered, playing a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient import operations.

Key

Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the Export process for shipments, ensuring timely and efficient handling.

Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure proper clearance and delivery.

Prepare and review export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.

Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and international trade laws.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs requirements and tariff codes.

Communicate effectively with customers to arrange the final delivery of cargo and resolve any issues related to shipment.

Manage the invoicing process, including preparing and sending invoices to customers, tracking payments, and handling any billing-related inquiries.

Track shipments and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A minimum of 2 to 3 years air export freight clerk experience, looking for someone who is looking to train to also add import and also become multimodal.
