A major UK & International 3pl, 4pl, transport, logistics and freight organisation is looking for a 4pl Control Tower transport or Logistics assistant to ensure smooth logistics operations by handling day-to-day irregularities, liaising with customers and suppliers, and maintaining compliance with security, safety, company, and environmental regulations.

ROLE: Control tower Assistant

LOCATION: Bristol

BASIC SALARY: £22500 to £23500

HOURS: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for logistics tasks with low to medium complexity
  • Handle day-to-day operational challenges or irregularities, escalating when appropriate
  • Provide excellent customer service by liaising with customers and suppliers
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Internal Operating Procedures (IOPs)
  • Provide support for the team by completing additional tasks as required
  • Ensure compliance with security, safety, company, and environmental regulations

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Transport, Supply Chain or logistics sector experience
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Logical thinking ability
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Proficiency in MS Office
