Customs Clearance Operator

A major UK & International freight forwarding organisation is looking for a customs clearance operator to join their expanding team. Role:Customs clearance Operator Location:Essex Basic Salary: £28k to £32k. Benefits:Pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, life assurance Hours:9am to 5:00pm REQS: Essential customs knowledge, Export or import road freight sector experience. Customer service, logging invoice requests, support and admin. All essential ROLE: Responsible for issuing correct documents (EAD / T1) on behalf of customers / operations and ensuring all declarations are compliant, legal and generated in a timely manner. Establish an effective collaborative relationship with the Operational team and maintain communication with customers on all customs issues. Provide accurate documentation check to ensure compliance to new and existing government legislation Create and submit export declarations to Chief via ASM Sequoia.
