We are now looking for a Programme Test Manager to join us in Edinburgh or Witham.

As a Programme Test Manager you will be responsible for defining, governing and delivering the quality strategy across complex change programmes, Value Streams and regulatory initiatives.
Key Responsibilities for the role include
- Defining and implementing programme-level Test and Quality Strategies.
- Leading testing across transformation programmes and regulatory initiatives.
- Managing quality governance, risk, defects, process improvements and release readiness.
- Driving automation, quality engineering and AI-assisted testing practices.
- Providing senior stakeholder reporting and programme quality insights.
- Managing test resources, suppliers and budgets.
- Developing, mentoring and coaching Leads and Analysts.
- Line Management responsibilities, day to day leadership support and direction.
We’d love to hear from you if you have
- Proven experience in Quality Engineering and Test Strategy, with the ability to define and deliver effective testing approaches.
- Strong knowledge of automation, API, performance and security testing practices and methodologies.
- Experience managing stakeholders, suppliers and budgets, with the ability to balance priorities and drive successful outcomes.
- A track record of leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Experience within the financial services sector would be advantageous.
- An understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines would be beneficial.
- A strategic mindset with a focus on delivering excellent customer outcomes.
- A collaborative approach, working effectively across teams and with external partners.
- A strong sense of accountability and ownership for delivery and results.
- A commitment to continuous improvement, driving innovation and enhancing quality across the testing function.

- We ask you to contribute 3% of your salary to your pension and we’ll put in 9%.
- If you decide to contribute more, we’ll match it up to a combined total of 20% of your salary (that’s 7% from you and 13% from us).

- 34 days leave per year (including bank holidays, pro-rated for part-time).
