The EDI Sales Director is a full-time, hybrid role responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the customer base for Transalis EDI, eInvoicing, marketplace integrations and related supply chain automation solutions. This role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and closing. The EDI Sales Director will build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, collaborate closely with marketing, product, and operations teams, and provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading sales presentations and demos, shaping solution proposals to meet client needs, overseeing sales operations processes, and ensuring a high standard of customer experience throughout the sales journey. The role also includes mentoring and coordinating with sales team members, contributing to go-to-market strategies, and gathering market and competitor insights to inform strategic planning.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in EDI Sales and Business Development, including managing complex B2B sales cycles and achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience in Sales Operations, such as pipeline management, forecasting, CRM usage, and process optimisation.
  • Strong background in Customer Service, with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Demonstrated Team Management capabilities, including coaching, mentoring, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of EDI, eInvoicing and supply chain automation solutions, with experience selling EDI solutions to mid-market and enterprise clients.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment with a high level of accountability, organisation, and self-motivation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
