The business has a long-established reputation and offers a friendly, collaborative environment where you’ll join a sizeable Service Charge Accounting team of around 30 colleagues. Main Duties:
- Producing accurate and timely financial information that supports both decision-making and wider business planning
- Reconciling accounts to ensure income and expenditure are correctly captured, investigating and resolving any discrepancies that arise
- Helping to maintain robust financial systems and safeguarding the accuracy and integrity of underlying data
- Developing strong working relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders
- Reviewing existing processes, suggesting practical improvements and contributing to a higher standard of service delivery
- Providing wider support to the Service Charge Accounting team across a variety of tasks as required
Location / Office / Culture
The role is hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. The team operates from a modern office based at Worcester Six Business Park, working a 35-hour week with a healthy balance between office collaboration and home working. What We Are Looking For
- AAT part-qualified, or fully qualified
- Previous experience within a transactional finance role
- Strong analytical capability with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy
- Confident communicator with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Well-organised, able to juggle competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines
- Solid numeracy and literacy (GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths, or equivalent)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; exposure to income systems would be a real plus
