Transaction Recruitment are supporting our Stockton-on-Tees based client in their search for an experienced Payroll Officer to join them on a permanent basis. You will be working as part of a dynamic payroll function and will be responsible for taking ownership of multiple payrolls from start to finish. My client is looking for a proactive candidate with a passion for payroll and demonstrable experience of working in an environment where you will be given full autonomy to achieve results. This position offers hybrid working.

Daily duties and experience required includes:

  • Minimum of 12 months experience within a payroll capacity
  • Processing starters and leavers
  • Calculating holiday and national insurance
  • Calculating SSP, SMP and SPP
  • Pensions knowledge
  • Manual calculations experience
  • Query resolution
  • Up to date payroll legislation knowledge
