About the Business
An opportunity to be a Finance Business Partner for a charity based in Longbridge. This is a great opportunity to become a part of a business that makes a real difference to people's lives.
Main Duties:
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including creating accruals and prepayment journals as needed.
- Analyse and report on monthly variances, offering full-year forecasts, and collaborate with financial and non-finance staff where necessary.
- Deliver face-to-face presentations of financial performance to senior management each month, ensuring the reliability and precision of financial data.
- Conduct independent monthly review meetings with the Director and service managers, serving as the main contact to assist budget holders with grant oversight, decision-making, and proposals for capital and investments.
- Provide expert judgment on financial matters, recommending strategies to enhance business performance.
- Lead and coordinate the annual budget-setting process alongside operational managers and the group consolidation team, with a focus on donor-funded programs.
Location / Office / Culture
This role is hybrid, with only 2/3 days in the offices in Longbridge. You will be working within a welcoming and diverse company that has really good training and development opportunities.
