Transaction Recruitment are supporting our Coventry based client in their search for an experienced Payroll Officer to join them on an initial six month contract basis, offering an immediate start. You will be working as part of a dynamic payroll function which is responsible for taking ownership of weekly and month payrolls from start to finish for 1000+ employees. This position offers hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home).
Daily duties and experience required includes:
- Experience working on a large in-house payroll, with end-to-end payroll responsibilities
- Support data cleansing and preparation for migration
- P11D reporting
- Participate in system testing and parallel pay runs
- Calculating holiday and national insurance
- Calculating SSP, SMP and SPP
- Manual calculations experience
- Query resolution
- Up to date payroll legislation knowledge
- Confident user of Excel
