About the Business

A fantastic opportunity to join a growing services business based in Coventry as an Accounts Manager. This is a key, hands-on role working closely alongside the Managing Director, giving you real influence over the finance function from day one with the opportunity to shape and develop it as the business continues to grow. Main Duties

  • Taking ownership of the day-to-day finance function, utilising Xero as the core platform
  • Overseeing bank reconciliations, invoicing, supplier payments and the management of credit control processes
  • Proactively monitoring and following up on overdue balances to maintain healthy cashflow
  • Assessing project performance and profitability through Xero Projects, keeping a close eye on margins and trends
  • Examining income, expenditure and project margins to highlight areas of opportunity or concern
  • Preparing management reports and delivering financial commentary to support informed decision-making across the business
  • Contributing to cashflow forecasting, budgeting and fee forecasting activity
  • Playing an active role in longer-term financial planning, including input into a five-year business plan
