Join us at Transaction Network Services (TNS) as a Network Engineer IV. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to design, install, and optimize our global IP network infrastructure.

This role involves:
- High-Level Design Concept Creation
- Low-Level Design Specification Development
- Network Delivery and Turn-Up
- Operational Network Design Review and Optimization
- Development of Network Design Standards
As part of the Global Network Infrastructure Delivery team, you will provide advanced technical support, documentation, and guidance across all areas of global network design and delivery, supporting both internal infrastructure and customer-facing services.
Responsibilities
- Contribute critically to project success and influence customer management levels
- Solve highly technical and complex problems
- Consult on other projects as needed
- Engineer, deploy, and support TNS's global IP backbone network
- Deliver Ethernet-based services (Metro Ethernet Forum standards)
- Design and support routing protocols (BGP, ISIS, EIGRP, OSPF, PIM)
- Design support for WAN/LAN topology, MPLS, Data Centers, Load Balancers
- Assess vendors and hardware, provide specifications for budgeting
- Identify issues and recommend solutions
- Guide team members and transfer technical knowledge
Qualifications
- 7+ years in large-scale multi-protocol global IP/ISP networks
- 5+ years in TCP/IP and routing protocols (RSVP, LDP, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, PIM, BFD, Reroute technologies)
- 3+ years designing and provisioning MPLS networks and services
- Experience with layer-2 Ethernet technologies (5+ years)
- Knowledge of Data Center design (3+ years)
- Expertise in WAN technologies (SONET, SDH, TDM, Metro Ethernet)
- Hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper networks (5+ years)
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, SPLUNK)
Desired Qualifications
- IP Multicast expertise
- Experience with Service Provider Juniper/Cisco routers and switches
- Server Load-Balancing, UNIX/Linux, Traffic Generation, Project Management, PERL/XML skills
