Are you passionate about turning technical information into clear, engaging communications? We are currently recruiting for a Technical Writing and Communications Manager on a 12-month FTC to join our marketing team. This role is responsible for monthly internal and external communications, with a strong focus on technical writing across the Group and Transact. It leads on tone of voice, style, and language consistency, championing best practice across all communications. Working within the Marketing team, the role includes overseeing internal publications such as the Monthly Wrap newsletter, managing website content (including client‑focused information), and producing sales aids and buying guides. It also involves significant document management, ensuring all forms and user guides are accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities

  • Management and publication of the monthly internal publication, Monthly Wrap.
  • Maintain an understanding of wider business initiatives, projects and wider market context to inform communications.
  • Managing and communicating technical developments that promote functionality and support understanding.
  • Development, organisation and delivery of documentation, including user guides, forms, and online resources.
  • Manage processes and sign‑off of documentation, to reflect system and/or regulatory changes. This will include managing version control, sign‑off, hosting and review.
  • Work with our development teams in the UK and Australia to update forms, using Scribus in line with product and regulatory changes.
  • Oversee print runs for quarterly statements and other miscellaneous printing.

Person Specification

Fundamental to this role is attention to detail, stakeholder management and a good understanding of the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with the ability to grasp technical concepts and convert them into simple consumer‑friendly language that is easy to understand and concise.
