We are currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for an Asset Servicing Associate to join our Client Accounting team.
This role sits within the team responsible for interpreting, logging and monitoring all corporate action events for assets on the Transact platform, including accurate processing of income events. The team also ensures that all assets on the Transact platform are correctly valued and investigates any price discrepancies.
Responsibilities include:
- Interpreting the terms and characteristics of corporate actions and producing an accurate written summary which can be passed to another team for independent review.
- Reconciling positions to determine eligibility to participate in voluntary and mandatory events and ensuring the expected out run has been received.
- Daily pricing of assets on the Transact platform to ensure they are correct and current.
- Investigation of price and fund data discrepancies from automated feeds.
- Ensuring that any cash settlements that relate to corporate actions are investigated and processed in accordance with CASS deadlines.
- The timely and accurate processing of client asset income (dividends, distributions, Fund Manager rebates, excess income released by offshore reporting funds).
- Tracking client asset income received versus expected frequency and following up any asset income that has not been paid at the expected frequency.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve any issues in relation to corporate actions and product pricing.
- Ensuring all processes are performed as set out in CASS compliant written procedures.
- Drive a professional and ethical culture within the Department, aligned with the FCA's principles for business.
Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will have experience processing and interpreting corporate action events and will bring strong analytical skills and attention to detail. You will be confident fostering strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and will demonstrate a solid awareness of CASS 6/7/8 and any other regulations that are relevant to the core process in the Department.

The role is based in our central London office, working a minimum of two days a week in the office and three days a week from home.
