We are recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Custody Asset Transfer Associate!
The Client Accounting Department's overarching responsibility is to ensure that all client funds and assets are accurately recorded within portfolios and reconciled as frequently as possible, in compliance with CASS regulations. The Asset Transfers team are responsible for timely and accurate completion of in specie asset transfers both on and off the platform. This role is a great opportunity to deepen your understanding of how investment assets flow through the back office of a leading investment platform.
Responsibilities include
- Updating client portfolios on a timely and accurate basis, to reflect client assets reregistering on and off the platform.
- Managing and controlling our UK and overseas listed in specie asset transfers, liaising with our custodians daily and arranging Trade & Settlement for our CRESTable assets.
- Monitoring our in-specie electronic transfers using the Transfer Management Grid (Calastone), Origo and Equisoft.
- Contacting third party providers in order to chase outstanding transfers.
- Investigating queries that may arise from other departments across the business.
- Seeking to improve transfer processes across the company to improve the transfer experience for our clients
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach, taking full ownership of tasks and delivering results within tight timeframes. Confidence in handling large volumes of complex data with accuracy is essential.

The role is based in our central London office, working a minimum of two days a week in the office and three days a week from home.
