This is a paid position and will have you work onsite at a large civil construction project located in one of the following locations (temporary relocation assistance is provided):Bucks, ALQuinton, ALSherills Ford, NCSemora, NCThe projects consist of mass excavation, large-scale civil improvements and landfill construction.This position will report to the Project Manager and will support Operations, Quality, Project Controls and Surveying Department needs on a daily basis. These responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:OperationsDocument management (RFIs, submittal review, redline drawings)Production and cycle time managementQuantity trackingSite reportingQualityPerform Quality InspectionsDocument Quality reportingConstruction Drawing and Specification adherence and reviewsProject ControlsCost reviews and trackingSchedule managementCommodity reportingSurveyingPerform basic GPS as-built surveying and grade verificationBasic quantitative analysis using computer software (Propeller)and/or GPSPosition Requirements:Co-op students must be seeking a degree in Construction Management or Civil EngineeringProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Prolonged periods of working outside in hot and cold weather conditions.Must be physically able to perform the work outside.Must be able to access all areas of the facility to determine needs.Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, MVR, and background check.May require significant time in the field, including walking up or down slopes.Must be able to work in a construction environment.Must have a valid driver’s license.Be at least 18 years of age.Equal Opportunity Employer:Trans Ash is an equal-opportunity employer.
