Full time and Part‑time positions available. Full‑time hours: 37–40 per week with flexible shifts between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm, including mornings, evenings, and alternative weekends on a rota basis. Pay: £12.85 per hour. Work location: In Person.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Worker to provide high‑quality in‑home care to clients across various age groups and health conditions. The role supports individuals with daily activities, promotes independence, and ensures their safety and well‑being within their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement care plans for clients.
  • Support meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well‑being.
  • Drive clients to appointments or social activities safely.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client health or behaviour.
  • Support clients with household tasks such as light cleaning and laundry.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies with first aid skills when required.
Experience Required
  • Prior experience in assisted living, home care, nursing homes, hospice care, or dementia care.
  • Knowledge of patient care protocols, medication administration, and behaviour management techniques.
  • Experience working with elderly or vulnerable adults in adult care settings.
  • Familiarity with Alzheimer’s and dementia‑specific needs and approaches.
  • Valid driving licence for client transportation purposes.
  • Certification in first aid preferred (training can be provided).
  • Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
