We are seeking a diligent and efficient Packer to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to handle materials safely, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards throughout the packing process.

Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 5:30pm-2:30am (Must have their own way of transport due to finishing time)

Duties:

  • Accurately pick and pack products according to order specifications.
  • Load and unload goods from lorries and ensure proper handling of materials.
  • Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels.
  • Conduct quality control checks on packed items to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
  • Maintain an organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
  • Provide support in stocking shelves and managing inventory levels within the warehouse.
  • Operate forklifts safely when necessary, adhering to all operational guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
  • Experience with picking and packing procedures is essential.
