About the Role
Tranquil Talent Group are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading UK-based sheet metal fabrication company located in Chilton, County Durham. This client specialises in precision metal work.
Pay: £16.80 per hour
Hours: 2 shift pattern (days, lates)
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and weld symbols without assistance.
- Working with various material types and thicknesses, ranging from 0.9mm to 5mm mild steel, 1mm to 10mm aluminium, and 1mm to 3mm stainless steel.
- Working freehand as well as using jigs and fixtures to achieve high-quality welds.
Essential Experience
- A minimum of 12 months of welding experience in a sheet metal or similar environment is essential.
- Competent reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks and materials, demonstrating flexibility and resourcefulness.
