This role offers the chance to work in a supportive environment where your expertise will be valued and your skills will be put to the test. 2 shifts – £16.80 per hourRole Overview:The successful candidate will begin on a dayshift schedule for induction and training, before moving onto a 2-shift rotation. The role demands a confident TIG welder who can read and interpret engineering drawings without assistance. The work involves handling a variety of materials and thicknesses, including:- Aluminium: 1mm – 10mm- Stainless Steel: 1mm – 3mm- Mild Steel: 1mm – 20mmSkills and Experience Required:- Expertise in TIG Welding: At least 2 years of experience in a sheet metal or similar environment.- Proficiency in Reading Engineering Drawings: Ability to interpret weld symbols and work independently.- Versatility: Comfortable working with various materials and thicknesses.- Precision and Attention to Detail: Capable of working freehand as well as using jigs and fixtures.
