Where is the work: On-Site (5 days)
Position Overview: The Repair Technician will join our growing workshop team to support the repair and refurbishment of the Hire Equipment Fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot faults on the Hire Equipment fleet
- Strip down, fix, reassemble chillers, pumps, motors, heat exchangers
- Replace components, complete repairs and maintain high workshop standards
- Supporting the business refurbishment program
Internal Controls and Processes:
- Strong knowledge of customer service principles
- Effective communication skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in using a PC and MS Office Suite
Skills and Capabilities:
- Competent with basic hand and power tools, strong problem-solving abilities, and basic IT literacy
- Mechanical Engineering qualification or a time served apprenticeship an advantage
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties in line with health and safety guidance
- F-Gas Category 3 an advantage
- Follow Health & Safety regulations, ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained
- Good Team Work and listening skills
- Right to Work status confirmed for Country of application
- UK drivers’ licence
