Job Description:

  • To provide electrical and mechanical repair/service to all Chiller/Rooftop equipment (compressors, driers, EXVs, TEVs, control panels, etc.) at customers\’ premises.
  • Attend customer sites to perform preventative maintenance on all Chiller/Rooftop equipment.
  • Maintain professional verbal and written communication with customers and colleagues.
  • Liaise with technical and office-based colleagues to understand specific job requirements.
  • Coordinate with managers to ensure services under contract are performed as per contract details and timeframe.
  • Obtain customer approval before commencing work.
  • Request additional parts promptly to ensure workflow efficiency.
  • Report work completion or delays to coordinators promptly to facilitate scheduling.
  • Complete and submit engineer job sheets accurately and timely.
  • Identify and report potential new business opportunities in Service or Sales.
  • Follow all Health & Safety requirements and legislation.
  • Report any safety incidents.
  • Perform other duties as delegated by management that are fair and reasonable.

EHS

  • Provide Risk Assessments/Method Statements as requested.
  • Use PPE during site visits.
  • Ensure sites are cleared after work, and relevant documentation (RAMS, Waste notes, F-GAS certificates) are submitted with paperwork.

Skills and Capabilities required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused and proactive.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Flexible and pragmatic regarding role demands and seasonal workload.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a technical bias.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an HVAC technician.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
