**Position Overview:** The Projects Engineer role will support the sales teams, customers, and stakeholders in providing technical advice to develop and successfully implement products and service solutions to meet customer needs. The primary objective is to develop business development relationships with sales, customers, and sub-contractors and deliver a high standard for projects in the HVAC and Process Cooling industry.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Accountable for the procurement for all equipment and subcontracts works related to all projects in your control.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, acting as a trusted point of contact.
- Accountable for in and outbound calls to suppliers, sales teams, customers, and stakeholders.
- Able to communicate complex technical engineering activities to non-technical stakeholders.
- High volume and fast-paced, able to be flexible and adaptable during each project and keeping customers updated throughout.
- Attend site visits with Sales Engineers and stakeholders to advise and produce costings and quotes on installation projects.
**Internal Controls and Processes:**
- Participate in review of new projects to finalise designs of new orders at commercial level.
- Attend project handover with the customer to confirm scope and timeline requirements.
- Produce detailed project plans and troubleshoot issues on technical engineering scenarios.
- Co-ordination of equipment parts and subcontractors to ensure required deadlines are achieved.
- Providing technical support to clients and sales engineers, co-ordinating projects.
- Managing installations and commissioning of industrial cooling systems to ensure they are technically correct to an acceptable standard.
- Managing engineers/teams on site, ensuring contract agreements are met and health and safety standards are maintained.
- Identify resources and assign responsibilities.
- Financial control of projects including budgeting and costs.
- Assist in filtering design flaws throughout the project.
**Skills and Capabilities:**
- Knowledge of manufacturing industry an advantage.
- Project Engineer background is an advantage.
- Project Management with commercial experience at intermediate level.
- People and communication skills with a positive mindset.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
- National travel and able to travel to other countries when required.
- Right to Work status confirmed for Country of application.
- UK drivers’ licence.
