Job Purpose Summary

The primary focus of the role is to ensure all Hire contract equipment is dispatched & received back and stored correctly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and offload Hire contract equipment and put-away in an organised and effective manner as defined by the off-hire procedure.
  • Follow, learn, and understand the hire exchange and repair procedure.
  • Follow, learn, and understand depot transfer process.
  • Washing and checking of all hoses and fittings.
  • Accurately pick hire contracts based on Inspire Picking lists released by the Hire Controllers/Coordinators.
  • Uphold quality standards of our Brands during the picking & packing process.
  • Glycol must be filtered and measured on return. Once this has been done then the good glycol needs to go to green tag area. All Glycol need labelling correctly. SOP to follow in the future.
  • When receiving returns please double check for equipment if you at first cannot find. I.E cables in fuel tanks. If you cannot find all equipment, you must call goods in/out team lead to verify.
  • When in goods out manage outbound process to ensure all customer orders are accurate and complete ready for pick up and informing respective salesman of shortages and changes.
  • Follow, learn and understand order picking process and picking list SOP.
  • Load/unload delivery vehicles as required.
  • Follow Health & Safety regulations, ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained.
  • Undertake stock-takes as advised by Warehouse Supervisor.
  • The post holder must be flexible in shifting his work pattern around warehouse opening times.
  • The post holder will be required to be on the on-call rota to dispatch emergency equipment out of normal hours.
  • Post holder will be added to the late board.
  • Carry out any other reasonable activities as requested by the management team.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge and Skills

  • Self-starter who can prioritise and arrange their own workload.
  • Flexible attitude and able to handle multiple activities.
  • Has counterbalance or flexi forklift license preferable.

  • Strong verbal communication skills.

Please note that this is a physical role which involves moving equipment manually on a daily basis.

Job Purpose Summary

The primary focus of the role is undertaking mechanical/electrical modifications to standard cooling equipment as per Production orders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Mechanical assembly of Standard and Project Equipment.
  • Electrical assembly of Standard and Project Equipment.
  • Testing of assembled equipment where required.
  • Follow Health & Safety regulations, ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge and Skills

  • Studied in electrical and/or mechanical applied engineering.
  • General Pipe fitting and/or electrical assembly experience.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Safe operation & use of Hand Tools.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety within a production environment.
  • Flexible attitude and able to handle multiple activities.

Key Competencies

  • Computer Skills.
  • Well-organised and efficient, with common sense and initiative.
  • Pays attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.

Benefits:

  • On-site parking.
  • 25 days holiday + official bank holidays.
  • Pension fund after 3 months of 5% Employee / 3% Employer increasing to 6% Employer if Employee increases to 6%.
  • Overtime when available.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday (40 Hour week within the Warehouse operating time 7:00 to 17:30).
  • Will be required to work late board.
  • Will be required to be on call. (Supplement and overtime will be paid.)
