Where is the work: On-Site (5 days)
Position Overview: The Depot Operative is responsible for all Hire Contract Equipment to be maintained and tested, dispatched and received back and stored correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and offload Hire Contract Equipment and put away in an organized and effective manner.
- Cleaning, maintaining and testing of all Hire Equipment and related ancillaries following relevant SOP’s.
- Update computer systems and track inventory numbers.
- Accurately pick hire contracts based on fulfilment managers requests.
- Uphold quality standards of our Brands during the picking and loading of Hire Contract Equipment.
Internal Controls and Processes:
- Strong knowledge of customer service principles.
- Effective communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using a PC, Apps, diagnostic software, and MS Office Suite.
Skills and Capabilities:
- Follow Health & Safety regulations, ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained.
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties in line with health and safety guidance.
- Good Team Work and listening skills.
- Forklift driving an advantage.
- Able to cover depot standby and call outs on a planned scheduled basis to include weekday, weekends and bank holidays when required.
- Right to Work status confirmed for Country of application.
- UK drivers’ licence.
