We're working with a fast-moving PropTech company to find a QA Engineer for an initial 4-month contract (with strong extension potential to 6+ months). This is a greenfield automation opportunity. The client needs someone who can own QA from the ground up: write documentation, establish a Playwright-based automation framework, and bring genuine rigour to manual testing. You'll be working on a PHP/Laravel web product in the landlord/rental sector, with real scope to shape how quality is done here.
What you'll be doing:
- Manual testing day-to-day while building out an automated framework in Playwright
- Owning QA strategy, not just executing test cases
- Greenfield setup - no existing suite to inherit
- Documenting as you go with an eye on handover or perm conversion
