We are currently recruiting for a Sustainability graduate to be enrolled onto our EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa) Graduate Programme, which will entail a 3 month International secondment to another Market Region within ASSA ABLOY. You will take part in a number of development programmes and will also be assigned a mentor within your local business.
The primary objective of this position:We’re looking for a Sustainability Graduate to use their knowledge and experience to help us drive our organisation towards achieving ambitions net-zero targets.
Key Responsibilities and duties are to:- Utilise their knowledge and experience to identify and share fresh perspectives and ideas to accelerate our journey towards net-zero emissions and create a net zero strategy.
- Conduct comprehensive sustainability assessments, including a detailed analysis of Scope 1 and 2 emissions.
- Devise and implement sustainability strategies aligned with industry best practices and global standards.
- Collaborate with various departments to identify and implement energy-efficient practices.
- Stay abreast of evolving sustainability regulations and ensure compliance.
- Graduated within the last 18 months, with a minimum 2:1 Degree in sustainability or equivalent.
- Given the nature of our programme, we require individuals who are ambitious, keen to develop.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- ‘Dares to think differently’ when solving challenges, using new techniques, processes or technologies.
- Be a team player, listens and takes on-board differing suggestions and opinions.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
