Job Title: Project Site Manager – Fencing & Access Control Location: Northwich, Cheshire Contract Type: Temporary (4 Weeks) Start Date: 23/07/2025 Rate: negotiable based on experience Overview: We are seeking an experienced and reliable Project Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a fencing and access control project in Northwich, Cheshire. This is a 4-week temporary role, ideal for a hands-on manager with a solid background in construction site management and specialist knowledge in fencing and security systems. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to specification. * Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries. * Ensure installation of fencing and access control systems complies with drawings and technical requirements. * Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks, and maintain site H&S documentation. * Conduct daily progress reports and liaise with the Project Manager and client representatives. * Resolve site issues and escalate any potential delays or risks. * Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and company HSEQ policies. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Site Manager or Supervisor on construction or security infrastructure projects. * Knowledge of fencing systems (e.g., palisade, mesh, timber) and access control technologies (e.g., gates, barriers, electronic entry systems). * Valid SMSTS or SSSTS certification. * CSCS card. * First Aid qualification (preferred). * Strong organisational and communication skills. * Ability to manage a small team and subcontractors effectively. Desirable: * Previous experience on MOD, commercial, or utility sites. * Competency with reading and interpreting site drawings. * PASMA/IPAF or other relevant certifications.
