We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Site Manager to oversee and manage on-site operations for infrastructure development. The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This role involves coordinating teams, managing subcontractors, monitoring progress, and resolving issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations and on-site activities to ensure the project stays on schedule and within scope.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors to align on plans, resources, and deadlines.
- Monitor work progress and conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, design specifications, and quality standards.
- Supervise on-site personnel, subcontractors, and labour teams, ensuring clear communication and productivity.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, site logs, inspection records, and change orders.
- Enforce health and safety policies on-site and promote a culture of safe working practices.
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise and propose effective solutions to minimize project delays.
- Assist with procurement of materials, equipment, and labour, ensuring timely delivery and installation.
- Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders as necessary to ensure permits and regulations are followed.
- Participate in progress meetings and provide regular updates to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a site management or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in project management tools, scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), and general office applications.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Valid certifications in health and safety (e.g., OSHA, CSCS, or equivalent).
- Valid driverβs license and willingness to travel to project sites.
