Your Role:

  • Operate articulated vehicles (Class 1) safely and responsibly
  • Complete trunk runs between depots and distribution centres
  • Conduct pre-use vehicle checks and report defects promptly
  • Maintain accurate records using a digital tachograph and comply with Drivers’ Hours regulations
  • Liaise calmly and professionally with traffic office, warehouse staff, and customers
  • Follow route schedules while adapting to changing road conditions when needed

What You’ll Need:

  • A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
  • Driver CPC qualification and Digi Tachograph card
  • A solid understanding of UK driving laws and tachograph regulations
  • Previous experience in HGV driving preferred (but not always essential – training can be provided)
  • A responsible, safety-conscious mindset with strong communication skills
