We are seeking an experienced NSAR Approved Rail Trainer to join our growing training team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, compliant rail training to individuals and organisations across the rail industry.

This role involves the delivery of PTS, COSS, and other rail-specific competence courses, ensuring learners meet all Network Rail and industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver PTS, COSS, and other rail-specific training courses
  • Conduct both initial and refresher training
  • Ensure all training meets NSAR, Network Rail, and Sentinel requirements
  • Accurately complete training records and assessments
  • Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism, and learner engagement
  • Keep course materials up to date with current rail standards
Requirements
  • Proven experience delivering PTS and COSS training
  • Strong working knowledge of Network Rail standards and Rule Book
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage classroom and practical training effectively
  • IT competent (training systems, reporting, online learning platforms)
  • Willingness to travel as required
Desirable (but not essential)
  • Assessing or internal verification qualifications
  • Experience delivering bespoke or specialist rail courses
