Overview
As a People Advisor at Trainline, you will partner with mid-level managers to coach them through people processes that drive business performance.
You’ll support organisational design, restructures, ER work, and collaborate with ER, L&D, and other centres of excellence to shape proactive, insight-led partnering.
You’ll help build a high-performance culture through effective coaching, performance conversations, and capability development.
This role offers influence across People operations, transformation initiatives, and the future of People Partnering, within a hybrid London-based team.

Responsibilities
- Support organisational design, restructures, and transformation initiatives, including collective consultation and employee relations work
- Collaborate with ER and L&D to shape requirements and develop manager development pathways
- Coach managers on performance management, calibration, capability development, and difficult conversations
- Drive process improvement across the People function, leveraging AI and automation to increase efficiency and strategic partnering
- Work with Talent Acquisition, Reward, Learning, People Operations and Legal to deliver integrated people solutions
- Contribute to evolving the People Partnering team with best practices and more strategic, commercially focused partnering
- Key requirements
- Experience in People Operations or similar People Advisory role spanning employee lifecycle
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills with coaching and influencing capabilities
- Generalist People partnering background including employee relations and employment law (ideal)
- Interest in AI and emerging technologies to enhance employee experience and People function effectiveness
- Collaborative approach across Centres of Excellence and People teams
- Growth mindset and enthusiasm for shaping the future of People Partnering
