We’re a collaborative, high‑performing group that believes recruitment is a strategic craft, not just a process. Whether it’s partnering with stakeholders to define hiring needs, enhancing candidate experience, or testing the latest in AI hiring tools, we approach talent acquisition with creativity, care and a data‑first mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and hire top talent across our Corporate & Commercial teams (Finance, Legal, Marketing, sales, HR and more).
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to design inclusive, efficient and high‑quality hiring processes, bringing your market knowledge and data insights to the table.
  • Run structured hiring kick‑offs, syncs, and debriefs, helping teams iterate and improve their approach.
  • Drive candidate experience excellence, using insights and feedback to implement improvements that enhance our brand and reputation.
  • Use Ashby, Metaview and enterprise AI tooling (ChatGPT and Copilot) to automate and optimise workflows, improve funnel conversion and efficiency.
  • Champion inclusive hiring practices, ensuring our values and DEI commitments are built into every stage of the process.
  • Contribute to employer branding opportunities, events or community partnerships to elevate Trainline’s presence in the tech hiring landscape.

Qualifications:

  • Strong foundations in recruiting for Corporate or Commercial positions (bonus points for finance, accounting or legal) within fast‑paced environments (agency, RPO, or in‑house).
  • Skilled at building strong stakeholder relationships and adapting your approach to different personalities and priorities.
  • Use recruitment data to influence outcomes, identify friction points, and drive improvements to hiring metrics and process effectiveness – actual metrics on your CV are highly valued.
  • Energetised by working in a complex, scaling environment, taking accountability of your area while contributing to wider team OKRs and customer experience standards.
  • Genuine interest in inclusive hiring, and love designing structured, values‑led hiring processes.
