As a L&D Partner at Trainline, you will play a pivotal role in designing, delivering, and managing a broad range of learning and development initiatives that support our people’s growth and the company’s evolving culture. This role requires a versatile and proactive professional who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, from leadership and management development programs to onboarding and mentoring schemes.

- Program Ownership: Take full ownership of key learning and development programs such as Women in Leadership, Early Careers, and Mid-Management Development, ensuring successful design, delivery, and continuous improvement.
- Project Management: Lead and coordinate multiple L&D projects simultaneously, managing stakeholders, timelines, and resources to deliver impactful learning experiences on schedule.
- Content Design & Facilitation: Develop engaging learning content and facilitate workshops and training sessions, both independently and in collaboration with external providers, to support employee growth and development.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with HR Business Partners, senior leaders, and the wider People team to align L&D initiatives with business needs and culture transformation goals.
- Data & Insights: Use skills gap analysis and impact measurement to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and identify opportunities to enhance learning strategies.
- Team Leadership & Support: Provide guidance and direction to junior team members, such as the Learning Coordinator, fostering a collaborative and high-performing L&D function.
- Culture & Innovation: Contribute to shaping Trainline’s evolving culture by supporting initiatives around emerging talent, internal mobility, and new learning technologies, including AI adoption.

- Proven experience in Learning & Development with a strong generalist background, able to manage and deliver a variety of L&D programs and projects.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong facilitation and content design skills.
- Passion for L&D and a growth mindset are most important.
- Experience supporting leadership development, early careers, and mentoring programs is highly desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with stakeholders across all levels and functions.
- Ability to work with data to conduct skills gap analysis and measure the impact of learning initiatives.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with junior team members, providing guidance and direction as needed.
